My name is Alex, and I'm a first year student at the University of Waterloo. I enjoy sharing knowledge, playing music, and working with computers, both on the software and hardware side; I have even built my own computer! Below, you’ll find a compilation of my musical arrangements, as well as some creative works from a Communications Technology course I took in high school.
Outside of school, I enjoy activities outdoors, especially ones in the snow such as skiing and snow ball fights. I also enjoy expressing myself through the piano and saxophone, playing video games, robotics and cuddling my Blåhaj shark and my axolotl stuffy (all cute things in general).

Music
Alex has an extensive background in music, starting the piano at just three years old and having now just completed a complete Level 10 Certificate with the Royal Conservatory of Music. In grade 7, she began the saxophone, and during COVID, she discovered her true passion on the saxophone was playing and soloing over pop songs. Alex arranges pieces for ensembles, most recently “Call Me Maybe” in collaboration with Denali Tran-Le for her high school's participation in the CBC Music Class Challenge.

Communications Technology
Communications Technology is a series of high school courses that introduce students to digital media through various projects in live, recorded, and graphic communications. Through Communications Technology, I learned to use programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Lightroom, as well as photography and videography skills.
